Well, I didn't get to run the Ravenswood 5k.  I went out the night before to Rumba, a salsa bar in downtown.  It was the first time I went there and I had a blast!  I got to try out some of my newly acquired skill.    Though, I was pretty intimidated when I first arrived.  But, I managed to not look too much like a noob!  At least I hope not. 

I ended up getting home at 5 am and my run was supposed to be at 7:30 am.  It was raining most of the night (hell, it's been raining most of the week) and it was pouring around 6 am.  I wasn't really feeling up for running under those conditions and fortunately I received a call in the morning.  J and everyone was contemplating the same thing and we all agreed that it was in our best interest that we not run that morning.  What a relief! 

Oh and I received my picture from the Wrigley 5k.  It turned out really well.    Well, I suppose that's a matter of opinion.
